"to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven"

Solomon is the author of these amazing words, and who would better know of the times and seasons that are attached to the purposes of God than him? His father David desired to build God a house in his lifetime, but God said “...the desire is good, the purpose is honorable, but the time and season is not yet.” God literally said to him “Your son, Solomon, shall build me a house” 1 Chronicles 28:6.

I believe that this is our season, and this is our time to purchase our central location building. Our Carlsbad campus is in the final throws of being fitted out and will open this summer fulfilling a massive need in that North County area. It will be an incredible step forward into our calling of being one church in four main locations. Our current central campus (in Carmel Valley) has grown by 20% every year since our inception in August 2005 and we have well over 1,200 people who call C3 San Diego their home church.

To put it plainly, we need a permanent facility. We need a state-of-the-art worship center, excellent children’s facilities, and a place where the youth of San DIego can find life, meaning, and purpose for their lives! We need a place that can house our many conferences. To make this a reality, we are looking at an $8-9 million dollar project, but I know we are going to come in well under this as we negotiate with God’s favor upon our lives. Pastor Leanne and I also believe that the generosity of our church is going to rise to meet this demand so that we will purchase this building and fit it out with minimal (if any) mortgage.

This is our time; this is our season to see the purposes of God come to pass in San Diego. Let’s rise, build, and break ground together determining that we will all give sacrificially to see this great cause come to pass!

We are excited to be stepping out with you in 2011/2012 to see God do something mighty! Remember, “it’s not equal giving but equal sacrifice” that counts.

Breaking ground with you,
                             Pastors Jurgen & Leanne Matthesius

•    our main goal is to purchase a central facility with a minimum of 40,000+ sq. ft.

•    use our remaining Rise & Build amount to do a basic operations fit-out to get the building up and running

•    completely pay off the Carlsbad campus and “burn-the-note” of $1.4 Million by 2013

•    negotiate a phenomenal deal on the central building and raisthe rise & build funds to no less than 50% of purchase price

What is the Goal?
To raise $3 million dollars over the next year which will allow us to purchase our central campus as well as completely fit out our north campus and be able to “burn the note” by 2013.

How do I determine how God wants me to participate?

We are asking every person who calls C3 San Diego their home church to pray and ask the LORD to lead them by His Holy Spirit and direct them as to which level of commitment they are to engage in, whether that be a KINGDOM ADVANCER, a KINGDOM BUILDER or a KINGDOM 100. God does not ask us to give everything but he does ask us to give something. We can all sacrifice and give something knowing that we cannot out-give God and “that he is a debtor to no man!” 2 Chronicles 25:9.

What is the Kingdom 100?

Even before the church’s first service in 2005, Pastor Jurgen felt the Lord say that He would raise up 100 people who would give each year in excess of $10,000 to the RISE & BUILD program. This would empower us to take territory, build His church, and quickly be debt free releasing us to keep advancing His Kingdom and take more ground! The Kingdom 100 is for those who feel the calling to take their giving to another level.

How does my faith commitment affect my tithe?

It doesn’t! Faith commitments are an offering above your normal ten percent. Tithes are allocated for the day-to-day running operations of the church, offerings are gifts over and above our tithes.

When do I make my faith commitment?

You can make your faith commitment at anytime by giving online. Click HERE
