What a wonderful privilege it is to be God’s ambassadors on this earth. Lives are forever changed when the light of Jesus in US draws men and women into relationship with Him. Our lives and the way we live them are the most consistent message we will ever preach. Your life speaks...you are an influencer...you are an example! It’s time for us as daughters of heaven to shine in our
marriages, shine in our families, and shine within the communities God has placed us.

~~THE MANDATE~~
We live in an amazing time in history where our ability to help those in need is just a mouse-click away. We can build wells in Africa, eradicate modern day slavery in Europe, and care for orphans in South America. While all of these things are necessary and good, we also understand that there are thousands of people that are lonely and hurting right in our own backyard. San Diego is our village and it’s our passion to care for those that are hurting and in need of love in our city.

~~THE MISSION~~
Since we want to be able to make an immediate impact in our city, there are four causes with whom we will be partnering. With each cause there will be items that you can purchase that will help meet specific needs.

Catherine’s Children’s Home was founded in 2005 to promote the health and well-being of special needs children, orphans, and the most
impoverished sections of the population in Mexico. They make regular on-site diagnostic and consulting visits to 300 children in four orphanages. We will have lists available at the conference where you can purchase items that are specific to the needs of the Catherine’s Children’s Home.

We here at Cherish really see our Local Hospitals as places that can always use more love and compassion. Our desire is to see the love of Christ poured out on every person, especially those that are dealing with the loss of a child. We will have the book “Jesse” by Chris Pringle available to purchase and write a personal note which will be given to those in hospitals.

The Vista Jail is a central intake facility in North San Diego County that books and houses around 100 women for various misdemeanor and felony charges. As a ministry, we truly want to see people find their identity in God and discover His true purpose and destiny on their lives. We will have the book by Rick Warren, “Purpose Driven Life”, available to be purchased
and to write a personal note for the recipient.

Casa Palmera is an exclusive inpatient treatment center for drug, alcohol, eating disorders, and trauma victims. Our focus here at Cherish is to reach out specifically to the women that are struggling and working through eating disorders. You will be able to purchase the book “Princess” by Janine Kubala and write a personal note to the person receiving it.

Guest Speakers J. John Twitter: @canonjjohn What can we say about J. John? He’s passionate, humorous, and his art of storytelling helps people discover spiritual meaning in a way that makes sense in everyday life. J.John, a Greek-Cypriot by birth, lives in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. He is married to Killy and they have 3 sons, Michael, Simeon and Benjamin. J.John became a Christian in 1975. To date, he has completed thousands of speaking engagements at conferences, towns, cities and universities in 54 countries on 6 continents. J.John has authored over 50 titles, and there are over a million copies of his books in print in thirteen languages. We are proud to invite him to our Cherish Conference 2011 and we know that his creative and inspiring messages will give you a greater understanding of who God is and the great things he has for your life!

Leanne is a relevant and transparent voice for women of all ages, races, and backgrounds. Leanne and her husband Jurgen have been in the ministry for almost twenty years and planted C3 Church San Diego in 2005 with their four beautiful children. Leanne has traveled around the globe speaking at churches and conferences and is widely known as an engaging and powerful communicator. We know that you will love her warm and humorous preaching style at Cherish Conference 2011.

Her outer beauty is only surpassed by her beauty within and the handprint of God can be seen so evidently on her life. Becky is a mother to two beautiful boys and has been married to her sweetheart Jon for eight years. Her passion is to see God’s people connected to each other and connected to God’s purpose for their life. Her powerful testimony of God’s transforming power is a message that every women needs to hear.
